## What compose does

Compose previews an AI-written message before you send it. You choose the channel, the connected account, the contact identity, and a prompt. Contact identity uses the same forms as [leads](/docs/leads#identities).

## Context

You can ground the draft in their profile, posts, conversation, or lead properties.
