This workflow automates the process of discovering trending AI topics on LinkedIn and crafting a highly engaging draft post tailored to the user's professional profile. It scrapes trending posts, analyzes patterns for virality, and generates both LinkedIn post content and a creative image prompt suitable for a striking visual.
It does 7 things:
- Runs automatically every day at 2:30 AM UTC to keep content fresh.
- Generates search queries for trending AI topics filtered to posts from the previous day on LinkedIn.
- Searches the internet for LinkedIn posts matching those queries.
- Extracts the most relevant posts and their key details like title, link, and description.
- Uses AI to analyze trending patterns and the user's LinkedIn profile to craft a viral LinkedIn post draft.
- Generates a creative prompt to produce a modern, tech-themed image to accompany the post.
- Uploads the generated image to a free image hosting service for easy access.
What you need
- A Needle account with access to scheduled triggers and code nodes.
- API access to Needle's internet search and AI content generation nodes.
- A valid API key for Google Gemini for image generation.
- The freeimage.host API key included in the workflow for image upload.
- A LinkedIn profile authorization to provide professional background data.
How the flow works
Scheduled Trigger: Starts the workflow daily at 2:30 AM UTC.
Date Filter Code Node: Calculates yesterday's date and prepares a list of trending AI topics with LinkedIn-specific search queries filtered by date.
Needle Internet Search: Runs the search queries on the web to find recent LinkedIn posts about the selected AI topics.
Results Extraction Code Node: Processes search results to collect up to 5 unique LinkedIn posts per topic, extracting titles, descriptions, links, and snippets.
Needle AI Content Generation: Analyzes the collected posts along with the authenticated user's LinkedIn profile to identify viral characteristics and generates a tailored LinkedIn post draft and an image prompt.
Code Node (Prepare Output): Organizes the output including the post text, image prompt, trending topic, and a summary of viral patterns.
Google Gemini Image Generation HTTP Node: Sends the generated image prompt to Google Gemini API to create a professional, tech-inspired image.
Image Upload HTTP Node: Uploads the generated image to freeimage.host and returns the hosted image URL.
Merge Node: Combines AI post content and image hosting response.
Telegram Node: Outputs the final result including the draft post, image link Send it to the Telegram.
Output
At the end, you get a crafted LinkedIn post draft aimed at maximizing engagement about a trending AI topic relevant to your professional identity. Along with this, you receive a prompt-generated, tech-focused image ready to accompany your post with a publicly accessible image URL for easy sharing.
