The Gmail Inbox Cleaner workflow helps you organize incoming emails by categorizing each new message and labeling it accordingly in your Gmail inbox. This way, your inbox stays tidy, and important messages are easier to find.

It does three things:

  1. Watches your Gmail inbox for any new emails arriving.
  2. Uses an AI agent to analyze each email and categorize it into one of four groups: urgent, newsletter, promotion, or personal.
  3. Applies a matching Gmail label to the email based on its category.

What You Need

  1. A Gmail account connected to the workflow platform.
  2. Authorization for the workflow to access and manage your Gmail messages.
  3. The Needle AI integration enabled to perform the email categorization.

How The Flow Works

Output

At the end of the flow, each incoming email is labeled in your Gmail account with one of the four categories. This labeling makes it easier to prioritize urgent matters, filter newsletters or promotions, and spot personal messages.

Notes

  1. Make sure your Gmail labels named urgent, newsletter, promotion, and personal exist beforehand, or create them to match the categories.
  2. The AI model is configured for consistent categorization results to ensure high accuracy.
  3. This flow uses polling to check for new emails periodically, so there may be a slight delay between email receipt and labeling.
