This workflow is your automatic lead generation assistant. It wakes up on a schedule, scrapes a live website for promising B2B tech companies, researches their key info, logs them into your database, and sends you a polished briefing—all without any manual input.
It does four things:
- Starts up on a daily schedule (or whenever you set it).
- Scrapes a chosen webpage for raw company data.
- Uses an AI agent with web search to extract, research, and save details for the top 5 companies.
- Emails you a neatly formatted summary of the new leads.
What You Need
- A Needle account to run the workflow.
- A blank Google Sheet with headers:
Company Name,CEO Name,Value Prop. - Connectors linked to your Google Sheets and Gmail accounts.
- Access to Needle's AI tools with Web Search enabled.
- A target website URL with relevant B2B tech or software companies (e.g., a startup directory or tech news site).
How the Flow Works

Output
At the end of each run, you receive a well-organized email dossier featuring five newly researched B2B companies, their CEOs, and value propositions. Meanwhile, a fresh batch of leads is added as rows in your connected Google Sheet, ready for your sales outreach.
Setup Tips
- For testing, you can switch the scheduled trigger to manual so you control execution.
- Choose target URLs rich in relevant company data for best results (like Product Hunt or Y Combinator lists).
- Ensure all tools (Web Search, Google Sheets, Gmail) are connected and authorized inside the AI node before running.
- The AI agent carefully filters out noise like ads and irrelevant links, but it's good to check your Google Sheet occasionally.
- Customize the scraping URL easily by editing the URL in the Web Page Browser node.
