It does 8 things:

1. Triggers automatically every day at 6:00 AM Indian Standard Time.
2. Searches TechCrunch for recent articles mentioning new startups in India in 2026.
3. Filters out irrelevant links, collecting the top 5 relevant article URLs along with their titles and snippets.
4. Visits each article URL to scrape the full content.
5. Uses AI to identify each Indian startup mentioned in the articles, extracting details like sector, founders, funding, and what makes them unique.
6. Performs a broader analysis, spotting ecosystem-wide trends and rating the overall health of the startup ecosystem.
7. Crafts a beautiful, modern HTML newsletter showcasing the startups, trends, and ecosystem insights.
8. Sends this newsletter to your email and stars the sent message for easy reference.

What you need

• A Needle platform account with access to scheduling, internet search, web browsing, and AI analysis connectors.
• A Gmail account connected through Needle for sending emails.
• Optional: Knowledge of setting schedules in cron format if you want to modify trigger time.

How the flow works

Scheduled Trigger: Kicks off the workflow every day promptly at 6:00 AM IST to keep the updates fresh.

Search Internet: Runs a query on TechCrunch looking specifically for new Indian startups mentioned in 2026.

Code: Extract URLs: Cleans up the search results to remove irrelevant links like the homepage and retains the top 5 article URLs with titles and snippets for deeper analysis.

Browse Articles: Visits each selected article to scrape the entire content, ensuring the AI has rich data to analyze.
