This workflow helps you save your favorite recipes from a web page directly into your designated collection. It takes a recipe URL along with some basic information and organizes the recipe with additional details like category, notes, and source domain.
Here is a quick overview of what the workflow does:
- Takes manual input for the recipe URL, category, and personal notes.
- Visits the given recipe URL to fetch the page content and extract the title to use as the recipe name.
- Merges your manual input data with the fetched web page content.
- Runs custom code to clean and extract useful details such as the finalized recipe name, source domain, and current date.
- Adds the recipe to a designated collection with appropriate labels including category and notes.
- Sends a confirmation message that the recipe has been saved successfully.
What You Need
- A Needle account to run this workflow.
- A collection created in Needle (for example, named "Recipe Sorter") where your recipes will be saved.

- If the page title is not clear or missing, the workflow automatically attempts to infer the recipe name from the URL itself.
- Make sure the Collection ID in the Add to Collection node matches your actual Needle collection intended for recipes.
