X Shadowban Checker
Find out if an X (Twitter) account might be shadowbanned — using AI to analyze real search results and live profile data.
This workflow takes a username, runs two parallel checks (internet search for shadowban reports and a direct browse of the X profile), merges the results, and has GPT-5.2 analyze all the evidence to deliver a clear verdict on whether the account is likely shadowbanned.
What you need
- No external connectors required — this workflow uses Needle's built-in search and browse tools
- Just enter the X/Twitter username you want to check
How the flow works
-
Manual Trigger Click "Test" to run the workflow. The trigger outputs a JSON object with the
usernamefield (default:elonmusk). Change the username to check a different account. -
Two Parallel Data Sources The trigger fans out to two nodes simultaneously:
-
Search Internet (2A) — Searches the web for
{username} Twitter X shadowban checkto gather external reports, forum discussions, and shadowban checker tool results. -
Browse X Profile (2B) — Directly visits
https://x.com/{username}using browser mode to capture the live profile page, including any restriction warnings, missing content, or loading issues.
-
-
Merge Combines the search results and profile page data into a single dataset for analysis.
-
AI Shadowban Analyzer GPT-5.2 analyzes all collected evidence as an expert in X/Twitter account status. It evaluates five types of shadowban indicators:
- Search Suggestion Ban — Account doesn't appear in search suggestions
- Search Ban — Tweets don't appear in search results
- Ghost Ban / Reply Deboosting — Replies are hidden or deprioritized
- Thread Ban — Account replies are completely hidden in threads
- Profile Restrictions — Profile page shows warnings or is restricted
Setup instructions
- Click "Use Template" to add this workflow to your account
- Change the
usernamein the Manual Trigger node to the account you want to check - Click "Test" to run the analysis
Output
A structured AI analysis containing:
- Shadowban Status — Yes / No / Possibly
- Type of Ban — Which specific shadowban type may be in effect
- Evidence — Data points supporting the conclusion
- Details — Additional observations about the account status
Notes
- The workflow uses browser mode for the X profile to capture JavaScript-rendered content
- Expression mode is used for dynamic URL and query construction based on the username
- Low temperature (0.2) ensures consistent, analytical AI output
- You can modify the search query to include additional shadowban checking services
- The merge node ensures both data sources are available for comprehensive analysis
