Introducing the Needle outbound engine

In June we launched proactive agents for revenue teams. The idea was simple: an agent that does the work around a deal, not just reports on it. Today we are shipping the engine those agents run outbound on.
You tell your agent who you want. It finds the people, writes the message, and sends on LinkedIn, Instagram, and email. The whole loop lives in the agent you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Needle in Slack. We call it the agent-native outbound engine.
1. Outbound still takes five tools
Most teams still assemble outbound from a pile of products: one for lists, one for enrichment, one for LinkedIn, one for email, one to tell you what happened. Each does a slice of the job. None of them can take a sentence like “find 200 VP Ops at US B2B fintechs and start a LinkedIn sequence” and actually finish it.
Agents made that sentence possible. The missing piece was an engine they could call: source people, keep cadence honest, and send on the channels that still get a reply. Without that, the agent is stuck drafting copy you paste into someone else’s sequencer.
2. Agent-native
Needle ships as an MCP server and a REST API. Connect it once and outbound becomes a tool your agent already knows how to use. You do not learn a new UI. You do not babysit a sequence builder. You stay in the session where you already plan GTM work, and the engine runs the motion.
That is the difference from an AI SDR product that wants to be the product. Needle is infrastructure for the agent you chose. When a better model or a better harness shows up next month, you keep the same engine.
3. The engine
Three jobs, one loop.
- Leads. Build lists from LinkedIn, from Instagram, and from Places so you can find businesses the way they show up on a map. Spar with your agent on the ICP until the list in front of you is the one you actually want.
- Outreach. One list, one sequence, on the channels your buyers answer. Messaging is written for each lead from your past conversations, not blasted from a template.
- Reflection. When a campaign stalls, ask why. The same agent that launched it can read the results, diagnose, and iterate without a detour through a dashboard you never open.
Sends stay on the rails these channels need: per-account cadence, suppressions for people and companies you should not contact, and keys bound to one user and one workspace.
4. Pay per sender, leads included
You connect the LinkedIn, Instagram, and email accounts you send from. Lead lists are included, with no credit meter. No separate database seat, no enrichment tax, no sequencer on another invoice. If you already have an agent, you are most of the way there.
There is a 7-day trial, no card. See pricing for the details, or start for free and tell your agent who to find.
