How the collaboration works

Client creates a workspace
Your client signs up for Needle and creates their company workspace. This is where all their data and automations will live.
Client invites you as a member
The client invites you to their workspace as a collaborator. You'll receive an email invitation to join.
Client creates a project for you
The client creates a dedicated project within their workspace specifically for your consulting work.
Client sets up connectors
The client connects their data sources (Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, etc.) to the project. You don't need access to their credentials.
You build workflows and AI chats
Using the connectors the client set up, you build workflow automations, AI chats, and collections. Test and iterate until everything works perfectly.
Client transfers to their project
Once complete, the client can move the automation to their own project space. You can be removed from the workspace if needed.

Workspace
Your client's company-level container. It holds all their projects, team members, and billing.
Project
Lives inside a workspace. Each project has its own connectors, workflows, and collections.
Connectors
Link external services (Gmail, Slack, etc.) to a project. The client sets these up with their credentials.
Transfer
When done, move workflows to another project. Automations keep working with existing connectors.
