Schedule Daily LinkedIn Posts
Automatically selects a topic from a curated content plan each morning, generates an engaging LinkedIn post using AI, and publishes it to maintain a consistent professional presence.
LinkedIn Morning Post Scheduler
This workflow automates daily LinkedIn posting by selecting a fresh topic from a curated content plan, generating a polished post with an AI agent, and publishing it every morning. It's designed for professionals and marketers who want to maintain a consistent LinkedIn presence without manual effort.
It does three things:
- Triggers at 8:00 AM every day (configurable timezone).
- Selects the next content topic from a predefined plan, ensuring variety across categories and subtopics.
- Uses an AI agent to research and write the post, then publishes it directly to LinkedIn.
What You Need
- A Needle platform account with access to automate workflows.
- A LinkedIn account connected via Needle's LinkedIn connector with posting permissions.
- Access to edit and customize the content plan inside the code node if needed.
How the Flow Works
| Node | Description |
|---|---|
| Scheduled Trigger | Fires daily at 8:00 AM (Europe/Bucharest timezone by default) to kick off the workflow. |
| Code (Content Plan Selection) | Picks a random available topic from a predefined list of categories and subtopics, tracks usage counts, and determines the day-of-week content format (e.g., high-reach insight on weekdays, personal reflection on Fridays, lighter content on weekends). |
| AI Agent (Post Generation) | Takes the selected topic and day format, researches recent trends using internet search, then writes an optimized LinkedIn post and a first comment — all in Romanian, following detailed voice and algorithm guidelines. |
| LinkedIn Post | Publishes the generated post text directly to your LinkedIn profile as a public post. |
Content Plan Details
The code node contains a rich content plan with dozens of entries spanning categories such as:
- Career & Professional Development
- Operations & Supply Chain
- Cost Optimization & Lean
- Leadership, Culture & Team
- Digital Transformation & Technology
- Organizational Transformation & PMO
Each entry tracks how many times it has been used versus its total allocation, so topics rotate naturally and don't repeat too often.
Day-of-Week Posting Strategy
The workflow adapts the tone and format based on the day:
| Day | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Monday–Wednesday | High-reach posts with data-driven insights, case studies, and actionable information. |
| Thursday | Provocative perspectives or counterintuitive opinions to spark debate. |
| Friday | Personal reflections and lessons learned — warmer, more inspirational tone. |
| Weekend | Light, inspirational content that avoids heavy technical jargon. |
Output
Each run produces:
- A LinkedIn post published at your configured time, written in Romanian with an engaging hook, structured body, clear call-to-action, and strategic hashtags.
- A first comment (available in the AI node output) designed to boost early engagement signals.
Notes
- You can expand or modify the content plan in the code node to match your brand voice, expertise, and language preferences.
- Track the "used" count in the content plan to monitor topic distribution and avoid over-repetition.
- Make sure your LinkedIn connector is properly authorized to prevent posting errors.
- Adjust the scheduled trigger's timezone and time if you want posts at a different hour or locale.
- The first comment generated by the AI agent is available in the workflow output — you can extend the workflow to post it automatically or use it manually.
By using this workflow, your LinkedIn content strategy becomes hands-free yet consistent, freeing you to focus on engaging with your audience and other important work.
